Daily Life of Edward Murrow

I picked this picture because it shows how Edward is in deep thought. He is always thinking and working. I wish I coulda got a picture of him smoking, thinking, and typing. That would have been the perfect depiction of his daily routine.

Thus far, what have you learned that was particularly interesting, surprised you and was new information?

To be honest, I didn't have a clue about any of this information. I love computers, TV and Radios. But to actually think that everything basically derived from the radio is pretty insane. And to think that we started with just voice files over radio waves to now having satellite video blows my mind.

M*A*S*H

This week, I actually found an episode of M*A*S*H on my dish. It's honestly been a long time since I've watched this, but I grabbed a Pepsi and started watching.

For those who don't know, M*A*S*H is a show about a bunch of Army doctors that are stationed in North Korea during the Korean War. There were multiply story lines that followed through out its historic run of 250 episodes.

After watching M*A*S*H, it's clear to see how much the television "world" has evolved. From shady special effects of the olden days to optimal special effects of today. Comparing the two would be like comparing a hotdog (M*A*S*H) to a steak (todays shows). The evolution of special effects and graphical overlays have come a long long way. From the original King Kong, to the new King Kong. It's clear to see the difference.

If you would actually like to learn more about M*A*S*H, you can copy and paste the following link:

My Week 1 Television

This week just like any other I watched a lot of television. I could honestly tell you word-for-word ever single Spongebob Squarepants episode. But when I get my time to watch TV, I/We watch House, AI (American Idol), All of the CSI's, and Without a Trace. My favorite out of the bunch is AI.

I've followed AI for the past 5 seasons, and I haven't ever missed an episode. With the addition of a new judge, this years talent looks great. Accept of course for a few exceptions. Bikini Girl, who was bumped out in Hollywood week was a joke, and the "funny" guy was a joke as well. All though the both of them were both bumped in Hollywood week, it was honestly a waste of 2 spots where someone that actually had some real talent could have shined.

My odds on favorite to make the top 3 is Scott MacIntyre. Scott is a gentlemen who suffers from tunnel vision. He described what he see's by looking through a straw. He plays the piano and actually sings with his family as well. The MacIntyre family which consists of Scott, Katelyn, Todd and mom. The following is a link to their Youtube page.

I hope you enjoy their music as much as I do.
